Gold rises on weak US dollar

Gold futures closed higher in the domestic market on Friday with the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields trading lower for the week.The yellow metal saw a weekly gain for the most-active futures contract, as continued strength in the euro pushed the buck toward its worst week in months.At the MCX, gold futures for October 2017 contract ended at Rs 30296 per 10 grams, up by 0.05 per cent, after opening at Rs 30,382 against a previous close of Rs 30,282. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 30,474.
