Copper futures gain on increasing demand

Copper futures were trading higher during the noon trade in the domestic market on Tuesday amid a firming global trend and pick up in spot demand.Marketmen attributed the rise in copper futures to rising demand from consuming industries at domestic spot markets.At the MCX, copper futures for November 2017 contract was trading at Rs 423.85 per kg, up by 0.27 per cent, after opening at Rs 423.35, against a previous close of Rs 422.70. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 424.25 (at 12:14 hours).
