Crude oil futures closed lower in the domestic market on Friday in line with a weak trend in Asian trade, as speculators cut down bets. Analysts said the fall in crude oil futures is mostly in tune with a weak trend in global trade and profit-booking by speculators. At the MCX, crude oil futures for September 2017 contract closed at Rs 3191 per barrel, down by 0.75 per cent, after opening at Rs 3200, against a previous close of Rs 3215.
