Copper futures gain amid rising demand

Copper futures were trading higher in the domestic market on Thursday as speculators raised bets amid rising spot demand. Analysts said, rising demand from domestic consuming industries at the spot markets, influenced copper futures here. At the MCX, copper futures for November 2017 contract was trading at Rs 447.15 per kg, up by 0.03 per cent, after opening at Rs 446.25, against a previous close of Rs 447.00. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 448.40 (at 12:10 hours).
